'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' actress Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita to appear on new show 'Bahu Hamari Rajnikant' [PHOTO]

Life OK channel is all set to launch a daily soap titled "Bahu Hamari Rajnikant", produced by Balaji head honcho Ekta Kapoor.

The promo of the new show has already created a huge buzz among the audience and to pull viewership right from the beginning, the makers have roped in popular TV actress Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" to make a special appearance on the opening episode.

"Yes, Divyanka is making special appearance on the show. I can't reveal much about it. However, it was superb having her on set, she is a very beautiful person. Her auro is very positive and we got along well," TV actress Vahbbiz Dorabjee Dsena told India Forums.

"I didn't personally shoot with her but having her around created such a positive aura on the show. I am a big follower of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and seeing her perform in front of me was wonderful," Tanvi Thakkar told the entertainment portal.

Divyanka, who is quite active on social media, shared a picture with the cast of "Bahu Hamari Rajnikanth" on her Instagram account.

"Bahu Hamari Rajnikant" will see Ridhima Pandit as the protagonist of the show. She will be essaying the role of a daughter-in-law trying to meet the never-ending expectations of her mother-in-law. Ridhima has been paired opposite Karan V Grover on the show.

"I consider myself very lucky to be a part of 'Bahu Hamari Rajni_kant'. It is a very light hearted comedy show that I enjoy being a part of as the content is relatable and it correctly portrays the capabilities of a daughter-in-law and the never-ending expectations of her in-laws," Ridhima had earlier said in a statement, reported IANS.
