At the recent Eid party hosted by Salman Khan at his house, an awkward situation occurred when actor Pulkit Samrat came face to face with his estranged wife Shweta Rohira, who happens to be Salman's rakhi sister. The party, held on July 7, was attended by several Bollywood celebrities.
Though Pulkit and Shweta have parted ways, they still have to file for divorce. This made the situation even more uncomfortable for both the parties. According to Mid-Day, Pulkit, who hasn't let his personal life affect his relationship with Salman, was having a good time at the party. He was talking to Randeep Hooda, and was taken aback when he saw Shweta among the guests. However, the "Sanam Re" actor preferred not to react.
The report suggests that Shweta too looked through him, ignoring him completely. "Late that night, Pulkit landed up at Galaxy Apartments to wish Salman. After exchanging pleasantries with him, he struck a conversation with Randeep Hooda, who was also present there," a source told the daily. After spotting each other among the guests, Pulkit and Shweta kept to different corners of the house. "Salman realised that the two were there, but felt it was not the right time or day to say anything," the report added.
A few days ago, it was said that Shweta's miscarriage was the reason behind her split with Pulkit. But, later, Pulkit allegedly slammed his wife for spreading the rumours. He said that the miscarriage happened four years ago and it was tragic for both of them.
Meanwhile, Pulkit's closeness with Yami Gautam has been the talk of tinseltown for some time now. The new twist in their relationship is that Yami apparently wants Pulkit to get out of his marriage as soon as possible. The actress has reportedly got tired of playing the hide-and-seek game in public. Also, SpotboyE reported that Pulkit has introduced his rumoured ladylove to his parents. It looks like Yami and Pulkit are now set to take their relationship to the next level.
