It looks like young actor Unni Mukundan will have an extended good run. The actor who had a sensation 2014 with the release of "Vikramadithyan" along with Dulquer Salman is now seeing offers pouring in.
The latest news is that he will be part of the next movie of Binu S' and will portray the role of a car mechanic. Binu made headlines last year with his debut directorial "Ithihasa" which was a fun- filled thriller.
"The car plays an important role in the love story. It will have the right mix of all the elements needed for an entertainer — comedy, romance, songs and fights. We will use the macho looks of Unni to the full. The project is in its nascent stage and hence nothing has been decided yet. We are planning to rope in a new face to play the lead actress," said Binu to The Times of India.
The script of the movie is written by Anil Narayanan and reports suggest that the story revolves around the lead character, his car and his girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Unni has a busy schedule ahead. The actor is awaiting the release of his movie "Fireman" which stars Mammootty in the lead. He also signed a new movie "KL 10 Pathu". "KL10 Pathu" is written and directed by debutant Muhsin Parari and touted as a romantic-comedy entertainer.
The story of " KL 10 Pathu" revolves around Ahmed, a semi-urban commoner with a good sense of humour. The film is set in the backdrop of football.
The shooting of the movie is expected to kickstart by end of January at various locations in Malappuram and Kozhikode in Kerala.
"KL 10 Pathu" has star cast of Sreenath Bhasi, Shine Tom Chacko, Aneesh Menon, Soubin and Mamukkoya and the music of the movie is composed by Bijibal.
