Prashanth is back with "Saahasam" or "Saagasam." The action-comedy directed by Arun Raj Varma hit the screens on Friday, 5 February.
Newcomer Amanda plays the female lead in "Saahasam," which also has Nassar, Thambi Ramaiah, Vamsi Krishna, MS Bhaskar, Nalini, Robo Shankar and others in the cast. It has S Thaman's music, Shaji Kumar's cinematography and Zashi Omer's editing.
The movie is the Tamil remake of Telugu flick "Julai," which featured Allu Arjun and Ileana D'Cruz in the lead roles. The original version was a hit and fans expect the Tamil version to do well at the box office as well.
The story of "Saahasam" is about a free-spirited guy who wanted to make quick bucks without working hard. He is a smart person and believes in his ability to be successful in his life. The story takes a twist when he meets a gangster who steals a large sum of money. The hero's concept on work and the duel between the gangster and the hero form rest of the story.
