Kannada actor Yogesh (Yogish), who is popularly known as Loose Maadha, is just one step away from losing his 'single' status. The actor has taken his relationship with his girlfriend Saahitya to the next level as the couple got engaged on Sunday, June 11.
The couple has opted for a low-key event at Saahitya's residence in Yediyur, Bengaluru, which was attended by their relatives and close friends. The boy and the girl exchanged rings around 12.30 pm. It is said that Yogesh's grandmother handpicked the jewellery for them.
At the engagement event, the families have finalised their wedding date and if reports are to be believed, they will tie the knot on November 2. The wedding is expected to be a big event that will be open to the public. The bigwigs from Sandalwood will also reportedly grace the occasion.
Yogesh and Saahitya are childhood friends who studied in a private school till 10th standard. "Having been in showbiz and known nothing but cinema, I was impressed by how she didn't get wide-eyed about actors or tinsel town. Simple and grounded, she has a firm head on her shoulders and her qualities have rubbed off on me, too," the actor had told The Times of India earlier while describing the character of his sweetheart.
Saahitya had been working in an IT company before falling in love with Yogesh. Her roots are in Mysuru.
Yogesh, who is the son of producer TP Siddaraju, has acted in over 20 films in Sandalwood. He has many movies in his kitty, including Leader, Snake Naaga, Prachanda, etc.
