Much has been made of the alleged Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma affair. But reports of the two hanging out at either film sets or cricket stadiums have only added credibility to their relationship.

Post India's terrible 3-1 defeat in the England Test series, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has issued a notice curbing the stay duration of wives and girlfriends with the players.

"From whatever information we have gathered, it's been seen that even if players wanted to focus on their cricket, their wives were being a big distraction. When some wanted to go to the gym or do nets, they couldn't do so because their wives wanted to explore the city," a BCCI official told The Indian Express and added that the number of days the wives spend with husbands will now be restricted.

Kohli's dismal performance at England tour left many disappointed including team's test manager Sunil Dev who reportedly said that he would've objected to Sharma's presence on the tour had the BCCI not granted permission.

However, according to a Miss Malini report, the board has apparently justified their decision saying that the couple were said to get married soon.

The new twist in the tale is a statement by "PK" actress' publicist which states that the online reports are nothing but conjectures.

"There are several stories online about Anushka Sharma's impending wedding. However I would like to set the record straight that there is absolutely no truth to these rumours and I would like to request you to refrain from conjecturing about the same," her representative told PTI.

Their relationship first made headlines when Sharma was spotted walking hand-in-hand with the vice-captain of India on the streets of New Zealand. According to recent reports, Kohli returned the favour by visiting 'rumoured' girlfriend on the sets of "Dil Dhadakne Do".
